Kohl’s Corporation owns and operates Kohl’s American department store chain Kohl’s. With 1,165 stores, it is America’s largest department store chain. They are located in every state, with the exception of Hawaii. Maxwell Kohl, a Polish immigrant who founded the company, in 1927. In Milwaukee, he opened a corner grocery store. Cancellation and Refund Policy
You have a limited time window to cancel an order placed at Kohl’s once it has been processed. This cancellation window does NOT apply to store pickups, same-day delivery, or free shipping to stores.
Kohl’s offers full refunds for all orders that are returned or cancelled. Keep in mind that refund processing can take up 30 days from the day the items were received back at Kohl’s warehouse.
You should remember that returns can only be accepted for 180 days after the purchase date, with or without receipt. Premium electronics and watches can be returned within 30 days. Beauty purchases, whether new or gently used, have a maximum of 60 days.
How do I cancel my order?
- Sign in to your Kohls.com account and click View Recent Purchases.
- Click “Manage Order” to find the order that you want to cancel from the recent list.
- Click “Cancel Order”
Verify that the order was canceled. If your order was successfully cancelled, your status will now be “Canceled”.
Kohls.com Returns
All shipping charges paid for merchandise ordered on Kohls.com cannot be refunded. Refunds will only be made for merchandise. No refunds will be given for shipping costs.
Only Kohls.com items can be returned by mail. All items purchased at a Kohl’s location can be returned to any location.

Return to Store:
You can return your items to your local Kohl’s and get a refund. This is the fastest and easiest way to do so. You can exchange or get a refund on most merchandise within the Hassle-Free Return Policy. This policy is valid for up to 180 days from the date of purchase. You can also return items to your local shop without incurring shipping charges. Return merchandise must be returned with the original packaging and invoice. To locate a store near to you, use the Store Locator.
Please make sure you remove all personal data and information from any electronic device that you return, even smart watches.
Returning an online order to a shop:
- Bring your item(s), packing slip, and other items to the store.
- Click here to print your packing slip.
Return by mail:
You will need to find and complete the Return form that we have included with your shipment in order to return your Kohls.com purchase via mail. The next step is to package the merchandise in a sturdy container. Once the package is returned to the return center, it may take up 30 days for returns by mail to be processed.
Kohl’s does NOT provide return shipping labels. You will need to return your merchandise to the following address.

Kohl’s does not accept mail-in exchanges at this time. You can exchange an item at your local store if you require it in a different size.

- You should not wear or use the items.
- Return your package to the address on the return form.
- Kohl’s will not pay return shipping costs.

Returns on freight-delivery products:
We are sorry! Large items that were shipped by freight cannot be returned to Kohls stores.
To return freight items:
- Refer to the stop sign at the bottom of your packing slip.
- No refunds will be given for shipping charges or surcharges
15% will be charged for restocking fees. Restocking fees will not apply to items returned due to defects.
