Refund your subscription and cancel your contract
You can cancel your subscription contract to request a refund under the following terms. You must delete and uninstall all copies of the software after cancelling your subscription.
Annual Subscriptions (one year term or more):
- Our 60-day Money Back Guarantee allows you to get a full refund for an annual subscription if you request it within 60 days of purchase.
- If you request a refund within 60 days of being charged, each annual renewal will be eligible for a complete refund.
- If you request a refund for Norton Ultimate Help Desk 1-device subscription, or an annual Privacy Monitor Assistant subscribe, it will be processed within 60 days. In the case of renewals, the processing time is 60 days. The full refund will be given if the services are not redeemed in either of these cases.
Monthly subscriptions (month-to-month renewals)
- A monthly subscription can be returned for a full refund if it is requested within 14 days of purchase.
- Refunds cannot be given for monthly renewals.
- Norton Ultimate Help Desk 1-device subscriptions or annual Privacy Monitor Assistant subscriptions are eligible for a full refund within 60 days of purchase, or renewal. within 14 days billing, provided that no services were used.
Subscribe to add-ons (linked to a primary subscription)
- Main subscription contract cancellation:
- This will cancel both your main subscription and any add-on subscriptions that are linked to it simultaneously. All add-on subscriptions and your main subscription contract will be canceled.
- Add-on subscription contract cancellation:
- Cancellation of add-on subscriptions is only possible if they are not in your control. You will be entitled to the same refund rights as before, but only for the add-on subscription you are cancelling and asking for a refund.
Subscriptions for trial (When a payment method must be used to initiate a free trial):
- Try it for a free trial to sign up for an annual subscription.
- You can cancel your trial at any time. The subscription fee for the first year after your trial ends and each subsequent renewal fee will be refunded if you request it within 60 days.
- Try it Free for a month.
- You can cancel your trial at any time. If you request a refund within 14 days, the subscription fee for the first month after your trial ends is eligible.
- Refunds are not available for monthly renewal fees that follow.
How do I cancel my subscription or request a refund?

How can I stop my subscription from automatically renewing?
