Cancellation policies

Informing guests about cancellations and the timeframe they can do so will help them to make informed decisions. In general, we recommend guests being able to cancel free of charge for up to one or two days prior check-in. Alternativly, you can opt for non-refundable policies which will guarantee that guests don’t get any money back if cancellations are made.

Cancellation

Pre-booked private transportation: Cancel for free up until 24 hours before pick-up (sometimes 2 hours). Please refer to your confirmation. You won’t get a refund if you cancel after the deadline.

Private Transportation on-Demand: The Service Provider might charge a cancellation fee.

Public Transportation: After your Booking has been confirmed, you won’t get a refund. Our Customer Service team can help you with any questions or concerns.

  1. You will be charged for cancellations if your Service Provider has a different policy.
  2. The Service Provider and we may cancel the booking with very limited notice. However, this is only in certain situations.If:

If the Service Provider is insolvent or genuinely insolvent, we will do our best to arrange alternate transport. We’ll also refund you 100% if we are unable to.

You may not be able to receive a refund if you violate these Terms or the Service Provider’s terms.

Changes (amendments) before you start your journey:

  • Pre-Booked private transportation: You will receive a confirmation email with details about how much notice you must give before your pick-up to make any changes to your booking (such as a change in location or time).
  • Private Transportation on-Demand: You may have to cancel your booking (which could incur a cancellation fee), and make a new one.
  • Public Transportation: Once your booking is confirmed, you can’t cancel it.
  • We will inform you as soon as possible if we/the Service Provider have to cancel your Booking (e.g. a strike that interrupts your journey). If you decide to cancel,

Any Transport: You’ll get a full refund, regardless of how close you are to your journey.

Private Transportation: You won’t get a refund if the change is a simple one, such as a new driver or Service Provider.

We and the Service Provider are not responsible for any additional costs that you might incur (e.g., alternative transport, hotel rooms).

Refunds

  1. You must request a refund in writing within 14 days of your pick-up.
  2. Refunds may take up to five business days to reach your account.
  3. All Private Transportation. You can request a refund if your driver isn’t there on time. We’ll look into it for you.
  4. All Private Transportation. If your ride does not go as planned, you will not be eligible for a refund.

 

  • The driver/Service Provider cannot contact you.
  • One or more passengers are late to pick up at the pickup location. You have not requested a new time.
  • You can request unreasonable changes to the pickup time or Journey.
  • You don’t need to tell the Service Provider/Driver about any changes you would like to make.
  • You provided incorrect information when booking Private Transportation.
  • One or more passengers did/didn’t do it.

Step by step Cancellation

  1. You can find the confirmation email on Booking.com.
  2. Scroll down until the Cancel Your Booking button appears.
  3. Click it and wait for the cancel window to open.
  4. Click the Cancel this Booking button.

Refund Request

Customers must follow a few simple steps to cancel bookings and request a refund. These steps are listed below.

  1. Booking.com has provided the confirmation email.
  2. Scroll down to locate the “Cancel Bookings” tab in your email.
  3. Click the “Cancel Bookings” tab to open the cancellation page.
  4. Click on “Yes”

These are the steps you need to take in order to cancel your booking. You can request a refund through several channels after you have completed the cancellation process.

Booking.com currently does not offer refunds via their website, mobile app, or in person.
