Hulu, an American subscription streaming service, is majority owned by The Walt Disney Company. Comcast’s NBC Universal holds a minority share. It launched October 29, 2007, and offers a library including films and TV series from Searchlight Pictures, Disney Television Studios and ABC, Freeform and FX Networks, among others.
Hulu Support Cancel Subscription allows you to cancel your subscription or find a cheaper or better-quality subscription.
Hulu Cancellation Policy
Cancel your subscription any time before the expiration of the current billing cycle. Cancellation takes effect at the close of the current billing period, unless otherwise stated. Cancel your Hulu subscription
Hulu allows you to cancel your subscription at any time. You can also renew your subscription easily if you decide to return in the future. You may be able to suspend your subscription up to 12 weeks if you decide you want to get away from TV.
You can manage your subscription if you just want to delete certain add-ons or change to another plan.
If you are being billed by Hulu, and wish to cancel your subscription (steps might differ for subscribers who are billed through third-party providers)
- Go to your account page from a mobile or desktop browser.
- Select Cancel under Your Subscription
- Next, you might be offered the option to stop your subscription. If you aren’t interested, select Continue Cancel.
- Select Cancel Subscription
Once you have successfully cancelled your subscription, it will appear on your Account page as: “Your subscription has been canceled.” Please keep this confirmation email for your records.
Hulu will continue to be available until the end your current billing cycle. However, you won’t be charged for any future access. If you cancel within your trial period, you will be removed from Hulu immediately.
Hulu Refund Policy
Hulu has up to 30 days to issue a request for a refund. This is from the day of the charge. Hulu may not honor refund requests made by customers who have already requested a refund from their bank, credit union, or other payment system.
Hulu, which is a self-serve platform, requires that customers observe their subscriptions. Customers who are overcharged or fail to initiate a request for a refund within thirty days of being charged will lose any right at a full refund.
Hulu subscriptions are able to be set to renew automatically after each billing cycle. In order to get a refund, cancel your subscription before the end of your next billing cycle.
Hulu will often send a renewal note at least 30 business days before the renewal date. This allows you to dispute an overcharge before it is applied.
Although you might have some time remaining in your billing cycle, you will not receive a refund for downgrading to Hulu. Instead, the remainder will be carried forward for payment of the new plan during the next billing period.
Also, cancelling or deleting your Hulu subscription doesn’t automatically guarantee a refund. For you to get the balance owed to your account, you must make a request to refund. You shouldn’t cancel or delete your subscription before you have received a full refund.
Hulu credit can be used to repurchase Hulu credit. If credit runs out, they will charge you for your next billing cycle.
Hulu may offer a partial refund or a full refund depending on which charge you have. Hulu might offer a partial or full refund depending on the charge. However, Hulu must explain why this is not true.
Hulu cannot offer refunds for monthly subscribers. This is something that you need to know. Hulu credit is the best way to receive credit for monthly subscriptions that include an extra charge.

Hulu accounts are the best place to request a refund. This can be done via the Hulu help center.
It is as easy as this:
- Open Hulu.com using your favorite web browser.
- Fill in the details and log into your account.
- Scroll down to the bottom and click on ‘Help Center.’
- After you have logged into the ‘Help Center,’ click on ‘Submit Request’ to submit your request for a refund.
