An incorrect order could be placed. It is possible to find the exact item at an even lower price at another retailer. In these cases, you can cancel your Lowe’s order online.
ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY OF LOWES
Lowe’s allows customers to cancel orders that have not yet been shipped or picked up at a store. If you wish to cancel an order after it has shipped, you will need to return the goods to receive your refund. You can return your order by mail or in-store.
Orders that are cancelled or returned with valid proof of purchase will be refunded back to the original method used for payment when the order was placed. Within 15 days of the date of cancellation, or return, debit or credit card refunds will be processed. If the payment was made with in-store credit, or a Lowe’s Gift Card then the refund will be made in the form in-store credit.
In-store credit will also be given if the return is made without proof of purchase. This credit will be based on the current selling price. Customers must also provide a valid photo ID to return items without a receipt.
HOW TO CANCEL LOWES ORDER ONLINE
Logging into Loews.com allows you to cancel or complete an order. These are the steps to follow:
- By signing in to your MyLowe account, selecting Orders and Purchases, you can cancel orders that haven’t shipped yet or haven’t been picked-up in store.
- Select Details from the menu to locate your order. Select Cancel in the Delivery section for the item that you want to remove.
- Choose a reason to cancel and then click Yes, Cancel. Soon after, you will receive an email with your updated order information.

You can return any Lowe’s merchandise in the USA if you are not satisfied with the purchase.
Most new and unworn merchandise can be exchanged or refunded with proof of purchase within 90 calendar days from the date of purchase, unless otherwise noted in our Returned Policy Exceptions. Unless noted in our Return Policy exceptions, you have 365 days to return any product purchased with Lowe’s Commercial Account (LCA), Lowe’s Business Advantage Card (LAC), Lowe’s Business Rewards Card (LBR) or Lowe’s Business Advantage Card (LBA). All returns must be approved by the system.
Returns will be accepted with proof of purchase.
- In-store credit is available for purchases made with a Lowe’s Gift Card or Refund Card, Merchandise Card or merchandise card.
- A debit card purchase will result in a cash refund or credit to your debit card. This can take up to 15 business days.
On request, written copies of Lowe’s Return Policy can be obtained.

- Delivery charges and/or Lowes.com shipping fees (except for Lowe’s error).
- Refund cards, in-store credit and merchandise cards
- All gift cards, including Lowe’s gift cards, are third-party, Visa (r), or MasterCard gift certificates
- Masks: No return or exchange of safety masks or facial covers of any type are accepted.

- Bring eligible merchandise to your nearest Lowe’s shop.
- You can find the customer service desk by contacting them.
- You must show proof of purchase and a valid photo ID.
