You can send a message and arrange to buy something from Marketplace.
- Click Marketplace from your Feed.
- Click on the item you wish to purchase.
- There are 2 ways to message the seller:
- To send a customized message to the seller, click Message.
- To send a message, click Send.
Click your account to see the items you are interested in buying and your conversations with sellers. Next, click your listings. Marketplace also has a Buying Section.

Thing That Can’t Sold in Facebook:
All Facebook items must comply with our Commerce Policy. These Commerce Policies are applicable to:
- Marketplace
- Groups can be bought and sold
- Shop for pages
- Facebook Shop
- Instagram Shop
Examples of items that cannot be sold on Facebook
- This is not a real item. It’s anything that doesn’t have a physical product to sell. You can’t search for lost and found posts, jokes, or news.
- Services – Selling services (example, house cleaning) via Marketplace is not allowed. Find out more about our policies regarding services.
- Description and photos don’t match. The item’s photos must match the title and description.
- Animal for Sale: It is not allowed to sell animals on Marketplaces or in buy and sale groups. This includes the posting of information about animals available for adoption.
- Healthcare: Items that are related to healthcare are not allowed.
- Before-and-after pictures Facebook items cannot show a before-and after photo (example: A photo of weight loss).

Report Seller on Facebook Marketplace

- From your News Feed, click Marketplace
- Select the listing you want to report.
- To view more details, click on the name.
- Click.
- Click Report Seller.
- Please follow the instructions.
