I want to cancel my trip
We’re sorry your travel plans didn’t work out! It is important to understand the airline policies and rules before cancelling a flight.
Cancellation policies vary by airline and may apply up to the date of your flight. You may be eligible to receive Cancellation without Refund if you cancel non-refundable flights. Before you cancel, we recommend that you consult the applicable airline rules and policies.
If you need additional information, you can contact your airline directly. However, most cancellations can easily be done online through My Bookings. For information on how to cancel a flight by an airline, please see the Airline Incitiated Modification article.
- Register for My Bookings directly from the homepage.
- Select View my Booking.
- Select Cancel Booking from the menu to the left.
- You will then be presented with options depending on your airline policy. These options may include a refund or a cancellation without refund:

After you have made your decision, please select View More.
You should note that there may be additional fees or penalties from airlines, along with JustFly handling charges. Before you confirm your selection, any applicable fees will be displayed to you.
- Please confirm your details and choose a payment method to complete your request.
- After you confirm all information and have selected a payment method, select Submit to complete your request.
If you have selected the refund option and are eligible for a reimbursement, we will immediately begin the process. Due to the high volume of cancellations due to COVID-19, refund requests can take up 18 weeks to process by some airlines. After your refund has been processed, it may take 7 days for your financial institution to credit your account and 2 billing cycles for the credit on your statement. We cannot control the processing times and appreciate your patience.
You will be notified that Cancellation Without Refund was approved if you selected Cancellation Without Refund. You should also check your email for confirmation.
What’s Cancel without Refund?
We were able secure a great deal for your original flight. There may be restrictions on how you can cancel your ticket or exchange it for a different flight. Due to restrictions imposed by airlines on flight exchanges, replacement flights might cost more than the original price and offer fewer options. These are some of the possible restrictions and/or limitations:
- Future fares that are eligible for rebooking may not be available for the same fare type or class as the original ticket.
- The original price of your ticket included individual fare and taxes. Sometimes, the original fare or taxes component of your ticket might not be applicable to your new itinerary.
- Your original ticket value is non-refundable.
- You will have to pay any difference in the price of the new flight if it is more expensive than the original ticket. Depending on airline policy, if the cost of your new ticket is lower than the original price, you could lose any value.
- Rebooking a ticket with the same origin/destination as your original ticket may not be possible.
- The validity period of the airline must allow for the booking date and/or travel dates. This could be 12 or 24 months, depending on airline policy.
- Rebooking a ticket must be done with the same airline that you purchased the original ticket.
The airline may charge an Exchange fee per person if you rebook.
You must cancel your reservation before the departure date or risk losing the entire value of the ticket.
Rebooking your new flight(s), must be done through us. Rebooking is possible by contacting our Customer Service Agents, or by logging in to “Manage My Booking” at our website.
Refund
Certain airlines allow tickets to be refunded even though you bought non-refundable tickets because of COVID-19. Only un-flightn flights are eligible for refunds. We will cancel your reservation and handle your refund request with the airline. It could take up 18 weeks for you to get a refund of the payment method you used to purchase the itinerary. Not all airlines allow refunds. Your request will be reviewed.
Handling Fees
- JustFly has reduced standard handling costs to accommodate some modifications requests due to the COVID-19 epidemic.
- Refunds or exchanges of reservations that were affected by airline waivers are subject to $50 handling fee (based on the original ticket value).
- All modifications to reservations that are affected by airline waivers purchased after April 1, 2020 (including cancellations with or without refunds) will be subject to handling fees up to $75 per person (based on the original ticket value).
- All modifications to reservations are subject to our standard dealing fees.
- You should be aware that there may be additional fees or a difference in the fare.
Non-airline ancillaries’ fees and original service fees are non-refundable.
I want to change my flight(s)
You can change your flight dates, destination and origin through our My Bookings page. Flight availability and airline policies will affect flight changes. For assistance in changing your flight, please follow the steps below.
- Log in to your booking page by clicking on “My Bookings”, located at the top-right corner of our website.
- Choose the trip you wish to cancel, and then click on “View My Booking”.
- Select “Change Flight” from the menu to the left.
- Choose the portion of your flight that you wish to modify and click “Change This Flight”.
- Now you can choose a new destination, origin, and travel date. The airlines have a change policy that limits the flight options available to us. We can only offer flights that we are granted access to.
- After you have selected new flight options, click “Search for New Flights”.
- Now you will be presented with flights based upon your previous selection. Simply choose the best flight option.
Review your selections and confirm your payment method. Click “Submit” to complete your flight change.
