How do I activate my credit Card
You can activate your debit card for personal or business use by using:
- You can visit online or mobile banking.
- You can call the number on the sticker.
- Visit any PNC ATM. You will need to insert your card into the machine. You will need to wait until a PIN is mailed to your address if you didn’t create one. This will allow you to activate your card at a PNC ATM.
You can immediately start using your card once it is activated.
The PNC Mobile App
- Navigate to the Cards tab.
- If there are more than one card, swipe to select the lost one.
- Tap Card Actions
- You can either report a lost or stolen card or request a replacement card by tapping the button.
What do I do if my card has been stolen, damaged or lost?
Online Banking
- Navigate to Customer Service.
- Select Debit Card Services under the Manage Accounts section.
- Click Debit/ATM Card Services & Resources
- Select either Report Card Loss or Stolen or Replace Damaged Card under the Debit/ATM card Maintenance section.

Forgot your pin for your debit card?
- To get a new PIN, stop by any PNC Branch.
- To have a random PIN generated, call us at the number on the back of the card. The USPS will mail the PIN to you.
Internationally, use my card
Can my card(s), be used internationally?
International travel can be made with your card(s). However, before you do, we recommend that you inform us before you depart to have a travel note placed on your account.
You have three options to send a travel notice:
- Register for Online Banking
- Navigate to the ATM/Debit Card Services, Card Account Activity or Customer Support page.
- Click the Notify us of Travel button.
- Register for the PNC Mobile Banking App:
- Tap the Menu icon (3 lines), then tap Card.
- Tap Actions at the bottom of the cards screen.
- Tap Create a Travel Notification.
- Phone the number on the back of the card.
Please be prepared to give the date and destination you are traveling.

My card is about to expire or has expired. What should I do?
My card is about to expire or has expired. My new card is missing. Your debit card will still work until the end of the expiration month.
Your new debit card should arrive in a plain envelope at the beginning of each month. If your replacement card has not arrived by the due date, please contact us or visit your nearest PNC Branch Office.
There are reasons why you might not have received a replacement card for your debit card:
- It is possible that the address we have on file may not be correct. To verify that the address on file is correct, please call us or sign up for Online Banking.
- Your card has not been used in 12 months. You should be informed in advance if this is true.
