Saks Fifth Avenue, an American luxury department store chain, is headquartered in New York City. It was founded by Andrew Saks. In 1867, the original Saks store opened in Washington, D.C.’s F Street shopping district. Saks opened its first Manhattan store at Herald Square in 1902, and its flagship Fifth Avenue store in 1924. In 1998, Tennessee-based Proffitt’s, Inc. acquired the chain, renaming it Saks, Inc. in 1998. The Canadian-based Hudson’s Bay Company acquired Saks, Inc. in 2013.

Return Policy

  • Saks OFF 5TH wants you to be satisfied with your purchase. You can return or exchange your purchase within 30 calendar days of receipt if you aren’t completely satisfied (with some exclusions).
  • Below are exclusions and guidelines.
  • A $9.95 return shipping charge will be added to your refund. This covers shipping and insurance. There may be some exclusions.
  • Unless the item is defective, it must be in like-new condition. “Like new” refers to the item being in a like-new condition. It must be unworn, undamaged and salable with all tickets attached.
  • Saks OFF 5TH reserves all rights to decide if the returned merchandise is in a like-new condition at its sole discretion. We will return any returns that don’t conform to our policy.
  • Some items cannot be returned and are marked as Final Sale on the product page and the packing slip.
  • Unless all items have been returned, you will receive a pro-rated refund if you return any items you purchased under a Buy One, get One (BOGO), or dollar or percentage discount promotion.
  • We understand that customers value returns. We want to ensure that all customers have a pleasant shopping experience. If we find an unusual return pattern through electronic analysis, we reserve the right to refuse or restrict future transactions at Saks OFF5TH or at saksoff5th.com.
  • Saks OFF 5TH reserves all rights to limit the number of items that can be purchased in any order. Saks OFF 5TH reserves its right to prohibit resellers or distributors from purchasing and/or returning products. Saks 5TH reserves the right to refuse or restrict future purchases from customers who have returned products in an unsatisfactory manner.
  • Only returns can be accepted by mail or in a Saks 5TH store.
  • Rent the Runway cannot accept returns for pre-owned items. In-store returns are not possible for Rent the Runway products.
  • Reflaunt can accept returns on pre-owned items within 14 days of delivery by mail. Reflaunt products are not eligible to be returned in-store.
  • International orders are not eligible to receive free returns.
  • FAST checkout orders are not eligible for return in stores and can only be returned by mail.

You can start your return by going to the Returns page or from your Order History. Then, use the prepaid label that was included in the original shipping box.

Select Return by QR Code from the Returns page or from your Order History. The code must be presented when you drop off your package at FedEx, or any of the participating partner locations.

You can go to our Returns page or to your Order History and enter your order number.
Follow these instructions to begin your return and print the label.

  1. PACKAGE YOUR RETURN

If possible, use the original packaging and include the packing slip if you are printing your label. After the shipping label has been attached, ensure that no other tracking labels are visible. You can only package items that are the same order number together.

  1. TRACK YOUR RETURN

Get a discount on your return FedEx locations Note the tracking number in your email or the link in the return confirmation email. It can take between 10 and 14 business days for returns to be processed. Refunds to original payment forms can take up one week.

RETURN IN STORE

You can return your item free of charge within 30 days. Simply bring it to Saks along with your original receipt or gift receipt. We’ll assist you in finding the right item if you wish to exchange. You cannot return items purchased in-store.

PRICE ADJUSTMENTS

Price adjustments are available within seven days from the date of purchase. You can submit an online price adjustment request, if you find the item you are looking for in the same color and size as the original price.
