Hot Rate Hotels (itineraries starting with 5 or 6):

All new Hot Rate (r/) Hotel Bookings Made Between March 20 and June 15, 2020, with travel beginning on or before June 15, 2020, are eligible for free cancellation.

Cancellations and changes can be made up until 24 hours prior to your arrival date. All cancellations and changes after this time, including no-shows, are subject to a 100% property fee.

  • Log in to your Hotwire account and go to “My Trips” OR, if you’re already on the confirmation page for your reservation, the “Cancel my Reservation” section.
  • To cancel your reservation, click the ‘Cancel reservation/’Cancel button. The ‘Cancel reservation/’Cancel button is only visible for bookings that are eligible.
    • To access these cancellation options, please log in to your account via mobile web or desktop.

Cancellation or changes to my hotel booking

Cancelling and rebooking your hotel reservation may allow you to make a change. The cancellation policies for Hotwire bookings vary depending on the hotel policy and the room type. Your cancellation policy can be found in your confirmation email as well as on your My account page.

All bookings for Hot Rate (r Hotel) are final and cannot be cancelled or refunded. Here are the Hot Rate bookings. Hot Rates offers amazing hotel rates. We get these rates only because our hotel partners promise not to reveal their hotel’s name until the room has been booked. They don’t want anyone to find out that their rooms are selling at absurdly low rates. Everyone would like the same discount! The other thing is. The room we booked has already been paid for. We will not be reimbursed by the hotel for cancelled or changed bookings. Hotwire Terms of Use are accepted and confirmed by you. Your credit card will then be charged for the entire price.

You want to extend your vacation? You can book additional nights or a second room using the ” Add To Your Stay” feature.

Cancellation or changes to my car rental

Cancelling car reservations is possible without incurring a penalty. Log in to view your My Account Hotwire. Click on the “Cancel reservation” button to cancel your reservation. An email confirmation will be sent if you cancel.
